Ingredients
- 500 ml white wine
- 200 ml pear juice
- 1 untreated lemon (juice)
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 vanilla pod
- 4 pears (Williams Christ)

Bring the white wine, pear juice, lemon juice, honey, cinnamon and split vanilla pod to a simmer and let it gently bubble for about 10 minutes.

Peel the pears, halve them and remove the core. Place them in the liquid, cover and poach over low heat for about 10 minutes. Let them cool in the liquid before serving on a plate with the reduction poured over.
