Plum Whole-Grain Porridge

A quick 10‑minute porridge made from wheat flakes and finely diced plum fruit, perfect for batch cooking.

Ingredients

  • 100 g large plums (egg plum, 1 large plum) or 3 small plums
  • 20 g wheat flakes (2 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp Rapeseed oil

Instructions

    Wash the plum, pat dry, halve, pit and cut into small pieces.

  2. 2.

    Stir the wheat flakes with about 125 ml water in a pot and bring to a gentle simmer over low heat.

  3. 3.

    Add the plum pieces. Cook while stirring for 2–3 minutes, then remove the pot from the stove.

  4. 4.

    Whisk the oil into the flake mixture. If desired, blend the porridge with an immersion blender.
