Ingredients

  • 1 kg plums (red, ripe)
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar (1:1)
  • 25 ml plum wine (or plum juice)
  • 1 small lemon (juiced)

Instructions

    Pit the plums, puree half of them, and cut the rest into small pieces. Add lemon juice and gelatin sugar, mix well, and let sit for at least 1 hour. Stir slowly while bringing to a boil, then simmer for 4 minutes.

    Do a gel test and fill jars up to the ring with the jam. Seal and place upside down for 10 minutes. Turn right side up, cool, and serve on butter or soft cheese bread.
