Ingredients

  • 2 kg plums
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece untreated lemon zest
  • 1 kg gelesugar (2:1)
  • 40 ml plum liqueur

Instructions

    Wash the plums, pit them and cut into large pieces. Combine with cinnamon, lemon zest and sugar in a large pot and let steep for about 1 hour.

    Bring the mixture to a rolling boil for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Discard the cinnamon stick and lemon zest, then puree the jam with an immersion blender. Boil again for about 1 minute, remove from heat and stir in the liqueur. Transfer into preheated jars, seal tightly, leave on their heads for about 10 minutes, flip and let cool.
