Ingredients

  • 1 kg plums
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar
  • 1 packet citric acid

Instructions

    Score plums crosswise, briefly rinse with hot water, peel, halve, remove pits, dice. Place plums and cinnamon stick in a pot, add water to 1 kg, add gelatin sugar, cover and let steep for about 6 hours, remove cinnamon stick, puree.

    Then bring slowly to boil and simmer while stirring for 5 minutes until sparkling. Mix in citric acid and ground cinnamon, immediately pour hot into prepared jars, seal well.
