Ingredients

  • 1 kg plums
  • 1 piece ginger (about 4 cm)
  • 1 kg gelesugar
  • 1 packet citric acid

Instructions

    Score the plums crosswise, briefly rinse with hot water, peel, halve, remove pits, and dice. Peel the ginger and grate finely. Mix plums and ginger, add enough water to reach 1 kg, stir in gelesugar, cover and let steep for about 6 hours.

    Then bring slowly to a boil and simmer while stirring for 3 minutes until sparkling. Stir in citric acid and immediately pour hot into prepared jars, seal well.
