Pineapple Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 kg pineapple flesh (about 2–3 ripe pineapples)
  • 150 g whole cane sugar
  • 1 lemon
  • 1.5 tsp Agar-agar

Instructions

    Cut pineapple flesh into small cubes, catching the juice as much as possible.

    Mix pineapple with whole cane sugar, squeeze in lemon juice and add it to the mixture.

    Stirring, bring to a boil. Boil briefly over high heat, then stir in agar-agar powder and simmer for another 2 minutes. Immediately fill sterile jars, seal, and place on the lids for about 15 minutes. Then flip and let cool.
