Ingredients
- 2 kg pickles (small and uniform in size)
- 30 g salt
- 3 dill sprigs
- 0.5 tsp Peppercorns
- 0.75 l white wine vinegar
- 0.75 l water
- 1 tsp salt
- 100 g sugar
- 0.5 packet canning aid

Wash and brush cucumbers, pierce several times with a needle and place in a bowl. Sprinkle with 30 g salt and cover with water, then let stand for 24 hours.

Drain the brine. Wash cucumbers again and pat dry. Fill each jar with one dill sprig and a pinch of pepper. Boil vinegar, water, salt, and sugar; pour hot over cucumbers. (You may stir in a packet of canning aid for better preservation.) Seal jars tightly and store cool and dark.
