Ingredients

  • 200 g black currants
  • 150 g Kandiszucker (brown)
  • 700 ml rum (40 Vol.% )

    Wash the berries well, remove stems and let them drain. Pour the sugar and rum into a large glass jar. Seal tightly and let it mature in a warm place for about 6 weeks. Shake occasionally so the sugar dissolves.

    Place a linen cloth over a large sieve and strain the liqueur. Then pour into bottles and let rest for another week.
