Ingredients
- 2 untreated oranges
- 0.125 l port wine
- 0.125 l red wine
- 50 g fruit sugar
- 2 small bay leaves
- 2 cloves

Wash oranges and use a vegetable peeler to remove the skin very thinly around the entire surface, then peel off the white pith. Slice oranges into rounds on a plate. Heat the fruit sugar with port wine, red wine, collected orange juice and the orange zest. Add bay leaves and cloves. Simmer orange slices in the wine for about 3 minutes. While still hot, fill jars with the orange slices, zest, spices and liquid, then seal tightly.
