Ingredients

  • 500 g apricots
  • 125 g sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 500 ml whisky
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 3 star anise

Instructions

    Boil lemon juice with sugar, dissolve the sugar and simmer for about 1 minute, remove from heat and stir in the whisky.

    Wash apricots, rinse under running water, peel, halve and pit them. Layer apricots in a jar, inserting halved cinnamon sticks and star anise between layers, then fill with the whisky syrup.
