Ingredients

  • 90 g butter
  • 150 g cane sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 175 g spelt flour
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g pecans
  • 50 g chocolate chips (dark bitter)

Instructions

    Beat the butter with cane sugar, vanilla sugar and the egg until creamy.

    Stir in the spelt flour, cocoa powder and baking powder, then fold in the pecans and chocolate chips; knead into a uniform dough.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop small spoonfuls of dough onto it.

  4. 4.

    Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 °C (160 °C fan, gas level 2–3) for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
