Ingredients
- 150 g sugar
- 50 g soft butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp grated lemon zest
- 100 g flour
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 fruit candies (unfilled, mixed)
Instructions

Whisk 150 g sugar with the soft butter, the egg and the lemon zest until fluffy.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt and fold into the mixture.

Coarsely crush the candies and mix them into the dough; chill for about 30 minutes.

Shape chilled dough into cherry-sized balls, roll in remaining sugar, place on parchment-lined tray spaced apart, lightly flatten. Chill dough again for additional trays if needed.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes on the middle rack until cookies are flat and crisp.

Repeat with remaining dough.
