Ingredients

  • 1 kg pears
  • 0.25 l water
  • 0.25 l white wine
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1.5 kg pectin (1:1)
  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 4 cloves

Instructions

    Peel, quarter, core and dice the pears. Mix pears with water, white wine and pectin in a pot, add split vanilla beans and cloves.

    Bring everything to a boil, simmer for 4 minutes, then remove spices. Fill prepared jars and seal. Let cool on the lid side.
