Pear fruit salad: an extremely low-calorie and fat-free dessert with dried fruits and aromatic rose water.

Ingredients

  • 2 dried plums (pitted)
  • 2 dried apricots
  • 0.5 Orange
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp rose water
  • 250 g large pears (1 pear)
  • 300 g low-fat milk (1.5% fat)

Instructions

    Cut the dried plums and apricots into strips.

    Squeeze half an orange to measure 50 ml of juice.

    Steam the plums and apricots in a non-stick pan with star anise, cinnamon, orange juice, and rose water for about 2 minutes, reducing the liquid by half. Let cool in the pan, then remove the star anise.

    Meanwhile wash the pear, quarter it, and remove the core. Dice the pear quarters into cubes.

    Stir the diced pears into the cooled dried fruit mixture and divide among serving bowls.

    Whisk the low-fat milk until creamy with a whisk and pour over the pear fruit salad.
