Pear crumb porridge: The fiber in whole‑grain crispbread keeps your baby full for a long time and supports their digestion.

Ingredients

  • 200 g large ripe pears (1 large ripe pear)
  • 4 tbsp apple juice
  • 20 g whole‑grain crispbread (2 pieces of whole‑grain crispbread)
  • 1 tsp Rapeseed oil

Instructions

  1. 1.

Wash the pear, pat dry and cut in half. Remove the core and chop the flesh into small pieces.

  2. 2.

Combine the pear with the apple juice in a small pot and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. 3.

Meanwhile, place the crispbread in a freezer bag and crush it roughly with a rolling pin to make crumbs.

  4. 4.

Add the crumbs and oil to the cooked pear and mash everything into a porridge with a fork. If the mixture is too thick, stir in a little more apple juice and serve immediately.
