Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 12 green olives
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 250 g peeled tomatoes (1 can)
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 fresh tomatoes
- Cayenne pepper
- 2 basil leaves

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Halve and pit the olives.

Sauté the onion and garlic in hot oil. Add peeled tomatoes with olive halves. Season with sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a brief boil, then simmer covered for about 15 minutes over gentle heat. Meanwhile cook spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente.

Boil fresh tomatoes briefly, peel and halve them. Remove seeds, dice flesh into small cubes, add to the sauce and season with cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Drain pasta, divide into bowls, pour tomato sauce over it, and garnish with basil leaves.
