Ingredients

  • 400 g pasta (Truciolotti)
  • 200 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 400 g small squid (pre‑cooked)
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp capers (chopped)
  • salt to taste
  • ground cayenne pepper to taste
  • basil for garnish

Instructions

    Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.

    Rinse the squid, pat dry and cut into small pieces.

  3. 3.

    Peel the garlic and mix with 4 tbsp oil, lemon juice and capers.

  4. 4.

    Cook the pasta according to package instructions in boiling salted water until al dente.

  5. 5.

    Heat remaining oil in a pan, sauté the squid for 3–4 minutes, add the garlic‑capers mixture and simmer for about 3 minutes over low heat.

    Serve the pasta with squid, sauce and tomatoes, garnished with basil.
