Ingredients

  • 400 g small squid (ready to cook)
  • 500 g mussels
  • 150 ml dry white wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 0.5 tsp juniper berries
  • 400 g fusilli
  • Salt
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • chili powder

Instructions

    Rinse the squid and drain. Wash and clean the mussels thoroughly.

    Bring the wine with the bay leaf and juniper to a boil. Add the squid and mussels to the broth, cover, and simmer for about 8 minutes until cooked. Then strain, reserve the broth, and let the seafood cool slightly. Release the mussel meat and cut the squid into pieces.

    Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C fan.

    Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, remove seeds, and dice. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Combine the seafood with the drained pasta, garlic, tomatoes, and parsley. Add 3-4 tbsp of the cooking broth with oil and season with salt and chili. Place portions onto the center of four sheets of parchment paper (about 30x30 cm), tie into small bags, and place on a baking tray. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until done.
