Ingredients

  • 70 g Parmesan (freshly grated.)
  • 2 slices Parmaschinken
  • 1 fig

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 180°C for parmesan waffles. Place a large round cookie cutter (≈10 cm diameter) on parchment paper and spread a thin, even layer of cheese inside. Remove the ring and repeat with three more portions on the tray.

    Bake for about 5 minutes until the cheese melts, bubbles vigorously, and turns lightly golden brown. Immediately remove the tray, let the cheese cookies cool briefly. Separate from parchment and allow to cool completely on a wire rack until crisp and firm.

    For serving, top each of two parmesan waffles with ham slices and fig strips, then cover with another waffle.
