Ingredients

  • 400 g stale white bread
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 4 handfuls arugula (≈180 g)
  • 250 g mozzarella
  • 250 g Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 handful basil
  • 4 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 150 g Parma ham

Instructions

    Preheat the oven grill.

    Slice the bread into thin pieces and drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil. Roast under the grill for about 5 minutes, turning once. Remove and rub with the halved garlic. Wash, trim, and dry the arugula. Slice the mozzarella. Wash and halve the tomatoes.

    Rinse the basil, shake it dry, then blend with vinegar, a splash of water, and the remaining oil. Season with salt and pepper.

    Layer the salad ingredients alternately with the ham on plates and drizzle with the dressing.
