Paprika Jam

Ingredients

  • 2.5 kg Paprika peppers (red and yellow)
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 2 kg gelatin sugar

Instructions

    Wash the paprika peppers, halve them, clean them, and peel off the skins with a vegetable peeler. Cut the flesh into pieces and combine it with lemon juice, split vanilla pod, and sugar in a pot. Let steep for at least 2 hours.

    Then bring to a boil while stirring and simmer for about 5 minutes, bubbling. Remove the vanilla pod and puree the jam with an immersion blender. Boil briefly again and pour into prepared jars. Seal immediately and let cool.
