Ingredients

  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 yellow bell peppers
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 3 anchovy fillets
  • 1 tsp capers (jar)
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt
  • pepper from grinder

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F) with upper and lower heat.

    Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove seeds and white membranes, and place the halves skin side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven until the skin turns black and blistered. Remove the peppers, cover with a damp kitchen towel, and let rest. Peel off the skins and cut the pepper halves into wide strips.

    Peel the garlic and chop it together with the anchovy fillets and drained capers. Mix with the olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and marinate the pepper strips in this mixture for about 12 hours. Serve as an antipasto with fresh ciabatta.
