Orange Rice Sorbet

A refreshing dessert featuring bright orange sorbet served in hollowed oranges and garnished with lemon balm.

Ingredients

  • 4 oranges
  • freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 4 tbsp rice pudding
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Lemon balm (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash the oranges. Cut off a lid from each orange. Remove the pulp, place it in a sieve and press out the juice. Freeze the hollowed oranges about 1 hour before serving.

    Mix the extracted juice with half of the fresh orange juice, rice pudding, and sugar. Freeze for about 4 hours, stirring occasionally to form ice crystals. Briefly blend with an immersion blender. Fill the sorbet into the oranges and serve immediately garnished with lemon balm.
