Ingredients

  • 100 g sugar
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cm ginger
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 tsp black tea
  • 3 tsp apple tea
  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 3 Cloves
  • honey
  • Lemon juice
  • aluminum foil (oiled)

    Add the sugar to a pot, stir until it melts and caramelizes to a golden yellow. Dip the cinnamon sticks into the caramel, wrap them around with the caramel by rotating, and let them cool on oiled aluminum foil.

    Peel the ginger and slice it thinly. Bring 500 ml water to a boil, add the tea, and steep for 5 minutes. In a pot combine the apple juice, ginger, cloves, and a splash of lemon juice; heat, then add the tea and season with honey and lemon juice. Strain, pour into glasses, and serve hot with the cinnamon caramel sticks.
