Tomato-Cucumber Smoothie with Kefir for the Thermomix®

The tomato-cucumber smoothie with kefir for the Thermomix from Spoonsparrow is great for everyone who loves spicy drinks.

Ingredients

  • 250 g cucumber (half a cucumber)
  • 250 g very small cherry tomatoes
  • 2 sprigs dill
  • 100 ml kefir
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • chili powder
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

    Wash the cucumber halves, tomatoes and dill. Set aside 3 tomatoes and one-third of the dill.

  2. 2.

    Cut the cucumber and remaining tomatoes into pieces. Put them with dill, kefir, salt, pepper, chili powder and ice cubes into the mixing bowl and blend for 2 minutes on setting 10.

    Skewer the reserved tomatoes onto a wooden skewer and set aside.

  4. 4.

    Add water to the cucumber mixture as desired to adjust consistency, then mix for another 15 seconds on setting 5.

    Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with remaining dill and tomato skewer.
