Wintery Grog

A wintery grog is perfect when it's really cold outside. At Spoonsparrow you can find the recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 Organic lemon
- 100 ml dark rum
- 350 ml red currant juice
- 5 cinnamon sticks
- 3 Cloves
- 2 crushed cardamom pods
- 1 tbsp honey

Wash the lemon hot, dry it, cut it in half, slice one half and squeeze the other half.

Add rum with 2 Tbsp lemon juice, currant juice, 300 ml water, 1 cinnamon stick, remaining spices and honey to a pot and warm, but do not boil.

Let the wintery grog steep over low heat for 10 minutes, then strain through a fine sieve into glasses. Serve garnished with one cinnamon stick and a lemon slice.
