Ingredients
- 1 untreated orange
- 100 g Soft Butter
- 125 g sugar
- 20 ml orange liqueur
- 2 Eggs
- 200 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat.

Wash the orange hot, dry it, and grate its zest. Peel around the fruit so only the flesh remains. Cut the fillets from the membranes with a sharp knife and dice them small.

Whisk the butter with sugar into a creamy mixture, then gradually stir in the liqueur and eggs.

Mix flour with baking powder and orange zest, then fold into the batter.

Fill the batter into loaf pans lined with parchment paper and bake for 25–30 minutes. Remove and let cool briefly.

Serve garnished with candied orange peel if desired.
