Ingredients

  • 800 g organic orange
  • 1 Organic Lime
  • 1 kg gelesugar
  • 5 drops natural essential orange oil

Instructions

    Wash oranges and lime hot, pat dry, remove stem ends and slice thinly on a mandoline. Remove seeds and roughly chop the orange slices. Zest the lime with a zester. Cut the lime in half and juice it. Add the lime juice and zest to 500 ml water and combine with the oranges; let steep covered for 4 hours.

    Weigh out 1 kg of the mixture, bring to a boil in a pot, remove from heat and let stand for 15 minutes. Stir in the gelesugar and bring to a boil again. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes, then stir in the orange oil and pour the hot jam into twist‑off jars. Flip the lids on and allow to cool.
