Ingredients

  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 200 ml dry white wine
  • 400 ml rooibos tea
  • 1 untreated orange
  • 4 star anise
  • 50 ml dark rum
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (to taste)
  • 4 cinnamon sticks (for garnish)

Instructions

    Mix the apple juice with the wine and rooibos tea in a pot. Wash the oranges hot, slice them and add to the mixture with the star anise.

    Warm the mulled wine slowly, let it steep for about 10 minutes, then pour in the rum. Sweeten with syrup to taste.

    Pour the punch into four glasses and serve each garnished with a cinnamon stick.
