Oatmeal Chocolate Bars

Ingredients
- 160 g butter
- 240 g honey
- 140 g mixed dried fruit (e.g., apricots, apples, figs, plums, etc.)
- 120 g ground almonds
- 80 g ground hazelnuts
- 70 g coarsely chopped hazelnuts
- 70 g Coconut flakes
- 180 g mixed flakes (e.g., oats, barley, wheat, rye and spelt)
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 200 g whole milk chocolate

Preheat the oven to 160°C with upper and lower heat. Melt butter with honey in a pot over low flame. Roughly chop the fruit and stir it with almonds, nuts, coconut flakes, flakes and flour into the butter mixture. Spread 1 cm thick onto a baking sheet (30x24 cm) lined with parchment paper and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Meanwhile, roughly chop the chocolate and melt it over a hot, non-boiling water bath. Remove the liquid chocolate from the water bath and let it cool slightly.

Take the finished oatmeal mixture out of the oven, allow to cool, and cut into 2x8 cm narrow strips. Dip one side of each strip in the liquid chocolate and turn them onto a cooling rack or baking sheet to dry.
