Ingredients

  • 50 g walnuts
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 120 g Gorgonzola
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp lavender honey
  • 8 slices walnut bread
  • 1 tbsp lavender buds

Instructions

    Coarsely chop the walnuts and roast them in a hot pan with oil; remove and set aside. Wash the thyme, shake dry, pluck the leaves and coarsely chop. Tear the Gorgonzola into pieces and mix with sour cream, lavender honey, and thyme until smooth.

    Using an appropriate cutter, cut 5x5 cm hearts from the bread slices and spread the Gorgonzola cream on them. Sprinkle with walnuts and garnish with lavender buds; arrange on a platter for serving.
