Ingredients

  • 100 g Soft Butter
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 200 g Flour
  • 150 g trimmed almond kernels
  • 250 g walnuts
  • 50 g Pistachios
  • 80 g honey
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g Raw sugar
  • 100 ml whipping cream

Instructions

    Whisk butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and egg until creamy. Fold in half of the flour, then knead in the remaining flour. Wrap dough in cling film and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

    Roll dough on a large sheet of parchment paper into a rectangle (about 28x24 cm). Place a baking frame around it. Prick dough several times with a fork. Transfer parchment to a baking tray. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (gas: level 3-4, fan: 180°C) for about 18-20 minutes.

    Coarsely chop almonds, walnuts and pistachios. In a saucepan combine honey, butter, sugar, cream and the nuts; simmer while stirring for about 3 minutes.

    Spread nut mixture over dough and smooth it out. Bake at the same temperature for another 15-18 minutes. Let cool, then cut into small squares.
