Ingredients

  • 3 tea bags black tea
  • 2 untreated oranges (juice and zest)
  • 2 untreated lemons (juice and zest)
  • 500 ml gooseberry juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla pod (aroma)
  • 2 star anise
  • 4 cloves
  • 400 g sugar

Instructions

    Bring the tea with orange, lemon, and gooseberry juice along with the spices, orange and lemon zest, and sugar to a boil and let it steep for 30-40 minutes.

    Pour the liquid through a sieve into a well-rinsed bottle. Seal tightly and let cool. Mix some of the syrup with red wine and warm it for a tasty mulled wine.
