Ingredients

  • 500 g apple berries
  • 500 g sugar

Instructions

    Wash, trim, and strip stems from the berries. Combine with sugar and 600 ml water in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 20 minutes over medium heat. Remove from heat and strain through a muslin cloth set over a sieve.

    Let it drain overnight, then squeeze the berries well the next day. Store the syrup in bottles in a cool, dark place.
