Moonmilk with Lavender

The Moonmilk with Lavender from Spoonsparrow sweetens your dreams and promotes sleep!

Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk (3.5% fat) (or a plant-based alternative such as oat or almond drink)
  • 1 tsp dried lavender buds
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 0.5 Vanilla bean
  • 1 tsp spice (Ashwagandha powder)
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 2 tsp dried cornflower petals

Instructions

    Warm the milk while stirring in a pot. Add the lavender buds, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Split the half vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife.

    Pour about 30 ml of the milk into a bowl and whisk together the Ashwagandha powder and vanilla seeds until the powder is well dissolved.

    Add the spiced milk to the pot and finish by mixing in the honey. Froth with an immersion blender. Pour the Moonmilk into two glasses and garnish with cornflower petals.
