Melon Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 0.5 Wassermelone (ca. 1 kg)
  • 0.5 Honigmelone
  • 0.5 Cantaloupe-Melone
  • 1 untreated lime
  • 300 g sugar
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Quarter the watermelon and slice one quarter into thin rounds. Using a melon baller, scoop small balls from the remaining watermelon and other melons. Arrange the slices on four plates and top with the melon balls.

    Grate the lime zest with a zester and sprinkle over the salad. Juice the lime. Combine sugar, 300 ml water, and lime juice in a saucepan; bring to a boil until thickened into syrup. Let cool slightly then drizzle over the fruit. Dust with powdered sugar.
