Ingredients
- 200 g chickpeas (canned)
- 600 g fresh Swiss chard
- 1 Shallot
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 EL olive oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 75 ml dry white wine
- 200 g Goat cheese
- 100 ml heavy cream
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)

Rinse the chickpeas under a sieve and drain well.

Wash, strip, trim, and spin dry the Swiss chard. Peel the shallot and garlic, then sauté them with the bay leaf in a pot. Add the chard, let it wilt, stir in the chickpeas, and deglaze with wine. Dice the cheese, add it with the cream. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg, simmering for about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Plate the vegetables in bowls and serve with toasted bread and lemon wedges.
