Grilled Corn on the Cob

Grilled corn on the cob from Spoonsparrow is vegetarian, simple and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 4 corn cobs
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 50 g butter
  • 0.5 handful herbs (parsley, dill, chives)
  • Pepper
  • 1 splash Lemon juice

Instructions

    Remove outer thick leaves from the corn cobs, leaving the tender inner leaves. In a large pot bring plenty of water with salt and honey to a boil, add the corn and cook for about 15 minutes. Drain and remove remaining leaves.

    Grill the corn while turning it for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Wash herbs, shake dry and finely chop leaflets. Stir into the butter and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Brush the finished corn cobs with the butter mixture and serve.
