Mango Yogurt Semolina Porridge
The Mango Yogurt Semolina Porridge from Spoonsparrow is the perfect warm start to the day on cooler days.
Ingredients
- 2 small mangoes (600 g)
- 1 l milk (1.5 % fat)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp whole grain sugar (20 g)
- 100 g soft wheat whole-grain semolina
- 150 g yogurt (3.5 % fat)
- 0.25 tsp cinnamon

Peel the mangoes, cut the flesh from the pits and dice half into small cubes. Dice the rest coarsely and blend with 100 ml milk until smooth.

Bring the remaining milk to a boil with turmeric and sugar. Sprinkle in the semolina and stir for about 5 minutes over low heat until it thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Stir two‑thirds of the mango puree into the porridge, then spoon the mixture into bowls. Whisk the yogurt until smooth and swirl it through the porridge. Add the remaining puree on top, sprinkle with a few mango cubes and dust lightly with cinnamon. Serve the rest of the mango cubes and leftover yogurt separately alongside the Mango Yogurt Semolina Porridge.
