Mango Lassi

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 100 g yogurt
  • 250 ml freshly squeezed orange juice (from about 5 oranges)
  • 80 ml freshly squeezed lime juice (from about 4 limes)
  • 4 cardamom pods
  • 8 tbsp crushed ice

Instructions

    Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh away from the fibrous core. Roughly chop the flesh (about 500 g) and blend with yogurt, orange juice and lime juice. Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

    Crush the cardamom pods in a mortar. Briefly mix the Mango Lassi. Distribute crushed ice into glasses and pour the Mango Lassi over it. Serve sprinkled with cardamom.
