Ingredients

  • 125 g sugar
  • 100 g Soft Butter
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • soft butter (for the molds)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Cream butter and sugar together, then fold in eggs, flour, salt, and rose water; cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

    Lightly grease Madeleine molds (about 5 cm), press a thin layer of batter into each mold, place on a rack, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (middle rack) for approximately 15 minutes.

    Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then take out of the molds and allow to cool on a wire rack.

    Dust with powdered sugar.
