Linzer Tart

Ingredients
- 200 g Flour
- 200 g butter
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 100 g ground hazelnuts
- 1 egg
- 0.25 tsp ground cloves
- 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp grated lemon zest
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 round tart pan
- 400 g currant jam
- 1 egg yolk
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Knead flour with butter and combine all remaining ingredients into a smooth shortcrust dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for one hour.

Press 2/3 of the dough into the springform pan. Place the tart pan on top and spread jam generously up to 1 cm from the edge.

Roll out the remaining dough, cut 1 cm wide strips, and lay them in a lattice over the dough. Shape the leftover dough into a roll and place it around the rim of the tart, pressing firmly.

Beat egg yolk with a splash of water, brush the dough with this mixture. Place in the preheated oven at 175°C and bake for 50 minutes. Let cool. Before serving dust the dough strips with powdered sugar.
