Ingredients
- 6 gingerbread cookies (without wafers)
- 200 g quark cheese
- 200 g whipping cream
- 1 tbsp vanilla syrup
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 1 jar cherries with juice
- 20 ml amaretto (or use non-alcoholic for kids)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp sugar

Cut the gingerbread into small cubes. Mix quark with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and vanilla syrup. Whip cream stiffly and fold it into the quark mixture. Boil cherries with juice, amaretto, cinnamon and sugar, then set aside to cool.

Fill 1–2 tbsp of gingerbread cubes in a dessert glass with some cooked cherries and pour over the juice. Add the cream on top and layer again gingerbread, cherries and cream. Garnish with a little cinnamon.
