Ingredients

  • 600 g sweet cherries
  • 400 g organic kumquats
  • 1 kg 1:1 gelatin sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

    Wash and pit the cherries. Wash the kumquats hot, remove the stem ends and slice them thinly. Weigh the cherries and kumquats; they should total 1 kg, then mix with the lemon juice and gelatin sugar.

    Let the mixture rest for 2 hours. Then slowly bring it to a boil while stirring. Boil for 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
