  • 2 kg blackthorn cherries
  • 1 l water
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar (for 1 liter fruit juice)

Instructions

    Wash the blackthorn cherries thoroughly, then simmer them in water until soft. While still hot, strain the fruits through a fine sieve and mix with the gelatin sugar.

    Bring the mixture back to a boil and cook for 4 minutes, stirring vigorously so it bubbles fully.
