Kernel Burger

Ingredients
- 1 Garlic clove
- 30 g Pistachios
- 30 g pine nuts
- 1 egg yolk
- 400 g ground beef
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2 handfuls mixed salad greens (arugula and red oak leaf)
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 Red Onion
- 4 burger buns (optional with pumpkin and sunflower seeds)
- 4 tsp medium-hot mustard
- 4 slices cheese (e.g., aged cheese)
Instructions

Peel the garlic and press it into a bowl. Mix thoroughly with pistachios, pine nuts, egg yolk, ground beef, parsley, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 burgers.

Wash, halve, core, and slice the bell pepper into strips. Cook the burgers in a hot pan with oil for 6-8 minutes on each side until golden brown. Add the pepper strips about 4 minutes before finishing (or use a second pan). Season the peppers with salt and pepper.

Rinse the salad greens, shake dry, and tear as needed. Wash tomatoes, remove stems, and slice. Peel onion and cut into rings.

Halve buns horizontally, toast cut sides if desired. Spread mustard on one side of each bun and top with salad greens. Place burgers with peppers, tomatoes, cheese, and onions on top. Cover with the other half of the bun and serve.
