Ingredients

  • 1 Shallot
  • 4 tbsp plant oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp freshly chopped thyme
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt

Instructions

    Peel and finely dice the shallot. In a hot pan, sauté in 1 tbsp oil until translucent. Mix in parsley and thyme, then transfer to a bowl. Combine with ground beef, mustard, salt, pepper, cumin, and coriander; knead well. Shape into four patties. Cook each side for about 6‑7 minutes in the remaining oil until golden brown.

    Wash, dry, and tear lettuce leaves. Peel onion and slice into rings. Whisk cream cheese with mayonnaise and chives until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

    Halve buns horizontally and toast cut sides to desired crispness. Spread the cream mixture on the bottom halves, layer with lettuce, patty, and onions, then spread remaining cream on top. Place the bun tops and serve.
