Ingredients
- 800 g young carrots
- Salt
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp butter
- coarse Sea salt
Instructions

Peel, clean the carrots and trim the greens to about 2 cm. Boil the carrots in salted water for about 8 minutes. In a pan caramelize the sugar and honey until golden brown.

Deglaze with lemon juice and soy sauce and let the caramel boil off again. Remove the carrots, drain them and toss them in the pan.

Add butter and glaze the carrots. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt if desired and serve as a side to lightly fried meat or fish.
