Ingredients
- 800 g waxy potatoes
- 6 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp plant oil
- 200 ml milk
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- Salt
- black pepper (freshly ground)

Wash the potatoes and steam them for about 30 minutes.

Peel the garlic, slice two cloves thinly, and fry the remaining cloves whole in hot oil slowly until lightly golden brown and tender. Remove from pan and mash with a fork. Fry the sliced garlic in the same pan until golden brown and drain on kitchen paper.

Peel the potatoes, press them through a potato masher, and mix with hot milk, the garlic puree, and crème fraîche. Season with salt and pepper and serve garnished with the fried garlic slices.
